So.. as I have started to get a little older.. i guess i have started to care a little more about what i put in my body and on my skin, as far as chemicals go!

Also as a professional eyelash technician, it matters to me that I take the same care with my clients and research such products.... and wa.. wa.. wow!...I was soooo surprised when I started researching the chemicals in our everyday makeup!!!

According to what i read...... the scary chemical formaldahyde is commonly used in our everyday makeup!.. Oh my gosh.. yes!.. I did say formaldehyde!

Although it is known for it's use in preserving.. eeeew... (even the thought of that is creepy!).. i think the fact that it is carcenogenic definately outweights that fact tenfold!.. onehundredfold in fact!

Eeeeek!.. a known carcinogen!.. Ok.. I know, I know... "LIFE" seems to be a known carcinogen these days!.. but I think we can safely say that being conscious of, and eliminating as much "Known" carcinogens as we can.. this could help us with our future longevity!

It's funny.. when i started to write this blog and decided to take a photo including makeup.. i realised that not only because i wear eyelash extensions, which means that i can enjoy saying "Yep!.. I woke up like this!.. but also, i can stop buying these harmful chemicals that i used to put on my face.. unaware of their dangerous effects!.. I definately own less makeup.

So therefore.. i have come to the conclusion.. that I am, in fact being more conscious about the amount of harmful chemicals i use on my skin!

Yay.. I certainly do know that I would like to make a difference.. perhaps add a few more years to my time on this earth!...... I don't know...... but for some reason, that does matter to me now!.. Atleast knowing that i am being conscious and taking as much care as possible, does help me to feel a bit better & i hope it does you too :)
